Within the framework of the university plan to develop the capabilities of faculty members in the field of scientific research, a workshop on quality in scientific research was held by Ahmed Ola, representative of Clarivate Analytics Company, on Tuesday, 1-10-2019 from 10 am to 12 pm in Hall no. 1002 Central Library.
The workshop covered the following themes:
- An explanation of the Web of Science database which includes data related to scien tific journals, conferences, books and patents
- Evaluate international scientific journals using Journal Citation Reports and opportunities and challenges in the field of scientific publishing
- Selection of journals in Web of Science.
- This comes within the framework of cooperation between the Knowledge Bank of Egypt and Clarivate Analytics, one of the publishing houses participating in the activities of the Knowledge Bank.
