عقد يوم الخميس الموافق 31-3-2022، قسم الارشاد السياحي، مؤتمره السنوي، بالمكتبة المركزية بالجامعة، في الفترة من الساعة 10 صباحًا، وحتى الساعة 2 ظهرًا، بحضور جميع أعضاء هيئة التدريس بالقسم، والهيئة المعاونة، والطلاب، اضافة إلي الخريجين المتميزين من ابناء القسم.
جاء المؤتمر فى جلستين، بواقع ساعتين لكل جلسة، أما الجلسة الاولي، فبدأت بكلمات موجزة لاعضاء القسم، ابدوا من خلالها سعادتهم بعقد المؤتمر للمرة الاولي بالقسم، لاسيما وان المؤتمر قد جاء بعد تنفيذ جميع فاعليات القسم، والتى كانت قد توقفت بسبب جائحة كورنا.
وفى اعقاب ذلك عرض د. احمد حمدين، رئيس القسم، بعض الانجازات التى حققها هذا العام؛ حيث ركز علي عدة نقاط:
- القيام بعدة رحلات علمية يقودها اعضاء القسم فى القاهرة، والإسكندرية، والأقصر، وأسوان.
- إقامة عدة ندوات بمشاركة قامات علمية على المستويين المحلي والدولي.
- تعضيد القسم بمجموعة من أعضاء هيئة التدريس من كبريات الجامعات المصرية.
- فتح قنوات اتصال بين القسم وبعض العلماء البارزين فى الخارج، لاسيما علم المصريات.
- فتح باب الدراسات العليا فى مرحلتى الدبلومات والماجستير، بداية من العام القادم.
اما الجلسة الثانية: فجاءت على قسمين، الأول: بدأ بكلمة للدكتور موريس أبو السعد، مدير المكتبة المركزية للجامعة، ومن خلالها أكد على حرص الجامعة على تزويد المكتبة بأحدث الإصدارات بصفة دورية، وكذا الاشتراك في قواعد البيانات العالمية، كما استعرض كذلك ما تقدمه المكتبة من خدمات للسادة أعضاء هيئة التدريس والطلاب، سواء ما يتعلق بنظام الاطلاع، أو التصوير، أو الاعارة.
تلي ذلك القاء د. أحمد حمدين ورقة بحثية، عرض من خلالها: أساسيات البحث في علم المصريات، ركز فيها على اهتمام كبريات الجامعات العالمية بعلم المصريات، والجديد في هذا العلم، وجهود العلماء المصريين والأجانب في هذا المجال، وكيفية اختيار نقطة للبحث، واخيرًا المدراس المختلفة في توثيق الحواشي وقائمة المصادر.
أما القسم الثاني من الجلسة، فتم فيه عرض نموذج تطبيقي لاحد مشاريع التخرج عن طريق أ. ملك خالد، كما تم عرض تجربة نجاح لأحد أبناء القسم من الخريجين المتميزين: أ. كريم حمد، المرشد السياحي باللغة الأسبانية، حيث قدم من خلالها نصائحه لزملائه الطلاب، كما وعد بتوفير فرص عمل للمتميزين من أبناء القسم، وفى النهاية قامت اسرة القسم بتكريم بعض الشخصيات المتميزة من ابناء القسم من المشتغلين بمهنة الإرشاد السياحي، والأكاديميين، أو المتميزين من الطلاب الحاليين.

Under the Auspices of Prof. Dr. Jamal Sami, President of the University and Prof. Dr. Hana Fayed, Dean of the College
and Dr. Ahmed Hamdeen, Head of the Tourist Guidance Department
Today, the Department of Tourist Guidance held its Annual Conference, in the central library of the university (SOUL), starting from 10 until 2 Pm, in the presence of all the faculty members of the department, the supporting staff, and students, in addition to the distinguished graduates of the department.
The Conference had two sessions, two hours each. The First Session, began with brief words for the members of the department, in which they expressed their happiness at holding the conference for the first time in the department, especially since the Conference came after the implementation of all the department’s activities, which had been suspended due to the Covid 19 .
Following that, Dr. Ahmed Hamdeen, Head of Department presented some of the achievements made this year he focused on several points:
- Conducting several scientific trips led by members of the department in Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, and Aswan.
- Holding several symposiums with the participation of scientific figures at the local and international levels.
- The department was supported by a group of faculty members from major Egyptian universities.
- Opening channels of communication between the department and some eminent scholars abroad, especially Egyptology.
- Opening the door for postgraduate studies at the diploma and master’s stages, starting next year.
As for the second session: it came into two parts, the first: it started with a speech by Dr. Maurice Abu Al-Saad, Director of the Central Library of the University, and through it, he stressed the university’s keenness to provide the library with the latest publications on a regular basis, as well as to participate in some databases, as well as reviewing what the library offers from Services for faculty members and students, whether related to viewing, photographing, or borrowing.
This was followed by a speech by Dr. Ahmed Hamdeen “a research paper”, in which he presented the basics of research in Egyptology, in which he focused on the interest of major international universities in Egyptology, what is new in this science, the efforts of Egyptian and foreign scholars in this field, how to choose a point for research, and finally the different schools in documenting footnotes and a list Sources.
As for the second part of the session, an application model for one of the graduation projects was presented by A. King Khalid, and a success experience was presented to one of the department’s distinguished graduates: a. Karim Hamad, the Spanish-language tour guide, through which he provided advice to fellow students, and promised to provide job opportunities for the distinguished members of the department current ones.[:]
