زيارة طلاب الفرقة الأولى للمكتبة المركزية
كلية الفنون التطبيقية الجدد (الدفعة الأولى )
تتيح الجامعة الفرصة لطلاب الفرق الأولى من كافة كليات الجامعة لزيارة المكتبة للتعرف على أنشطتها والخدمات التى تقدمها . حضرالدفعة الأولى من طلاب كلية الفنون التطبيقية يوم الخميس الموافق 31/10/2019 و بلغ أجمالى عددهم 186 طالباّ تحت إشراف 7 من أعضاء هيئة تدريس والهيئة المعاونة بالكلية .
و فى بداية اللقاء رحب الدكتور موريس أبو السعد مدير المكتبة بالزوار ، حيث ألقى كلمة تناولت عرض لأهم أنشطة المكتبة وخدماتها، وقد تحدث بوجه خاص عن أهمية تكليف الطلاب بإعداد دراسات بحثية فى الموضوعات التى يرى كل عضو هيئة تدريس بالكلية أنها مهمة فى مجالات التخصص، وقد صرح الدكتور موريس أبو السعد بأن الكلية قد خصصت خمس درجات من درجات الطلاب لزيارات المكتبة لإعداد الدراسات بها، تلي ذلك تقديم عرض سمعي بصري على المكتبة .ثم قام فريق العمل بالمكتبة بتقديم بحثًا مباشرًا عبرالإنترنت تناول طرق البحث فى فهرس المكتبة المتاح على الخط المباشر، وأيضًا أساليب الدخول على قواعد البيانات الرقمية المتاحة في المكتبة، وخاصة استخدام المصادر الرقمية وبخاصة قواعد بيانات شركة EBSCO وبنك المعرفة المصري (EKB).
و مع نهــاية الزيارة، قــــام الطلاب بجولة ميدانية للتعرف على قاعات المقتنيات الورقية وبخاصة التي تقع في مجال[:en]First level students visited the Central Library

The university provides the opportunity for students of the first level from all faculties of the university to visit the library to learn about its activities and services. The first batch of students from the Faculty of Applied Arts attended on Thursday, 31/10/2019, The total reached up to 186 students under the supervision of seven faculty members and the faculty assistents ..
At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Maurice Abul-Saad, Director of the Library, welcomed the visitors, where he delivered a speech on the most important activities of the library and its services. Dr. Maurice Abul-Saad mentioned that the college allocate 5 degree of the students’ grades to the library visits to prepare studies, followed by an audiovisual presentation on the library. Online access to the digital databases available in the library was presented , online access to especially the EBSCO databases and the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB)
At the end of the visit, the students took a tour to identify the halls of paper holdings, especially those located in their field[:]
