تستقبل المكتبة المركزية مرتاديها من طلاب وأعضاء هيئة التدريس من كافة كليات الجامعة للتعرف على أنشطتها و الخدمات التى تقدمها . وفى يوم الخميس الموافق 4-11-2021 حضر طلاب كلية الطب والجراحة حيث بلغ أجمالي عددهم 77 طالباّ وطالبة تحت إشراف 2 من أعضاء هيئة التدريس والهيئة المعاونة بالكلية .
وفى بداية اللقاء رحب الدكتور موريس أبو السعد مدير المكتبة بالزوار،حيث ألقى كلمة تناولت عرض لأهم أنشطة المكتبة وخدماتها، وقد تحدث بوجه خاص عن أهمية تكليف الطلاب بإعداد دراسات بحثية فى الموضوعات التى يرى كل عضو هيئة تدريس بالكلية أنها مهمة فى مجالات التخصص، بالتعاون مع فريق العمل المختص بالمكتبة، تلى ذلك تقديم عرض سمعي بصري عن المكتبة، ثم قام فريق العمل بالمكتبة بتقديم عرضاّ حياً عبر الإنترنت لطرق البحث فى فهرس المكتبة المتاح على الخط المباشر، وأيضًا أساليب الدخول على قواعد البيانات الرقمية المتاحة في المكتبة، تضمن وتلك المعلومات المتاحة ببنك المعرفة المصري (EKB) كما تناول شرح مختصر عن موقع المكتبة الإلكتروني والأنشطة والخدمات المتاحة عليه .
وفى ختام الزيارة،قــــام الطلاب بجولة ميدانية بالمكتبة تم فيها التعرف على قاعات عرض المقتنيات الورقية و بخاصة تلك التي تقع في مجال تخصصاتهم

SOUL receives the students and faculty members from all colleges of the university to get acquainted with its activities and services. On Thursday, 4-11-2021, students of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery , with a total number of 77 students under the supervision of 2 members of the faculty members and their assistants..
Dr. Maurice Abu Al-Saad, Director of the library, started the meeting by welcoming the visitors, where he delivered a speech on the most important activities of the library and its services. He talked in particular about the importance of assigning students to prepare research studies on topics that each faculty member in the college sees as important in the fields of specialization. The library team presents a film on SOUL. , as well as the methods of accessing the digital databases available in the library, and those available on the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) A brief description of the library website and the activities and services was presented.
By the end of the visit, the students made a tour within the library, in which they were introduced to the halls of the paper-based collections, especially those located in their field of specialization.
