The university offers the opportunity for students of the first level from all colleges to visit SOUL to be acquainted with its activities and services. on Monday 23/9/2019, about 170 students of the Faculty of Information Systems and Computer Science visited SOUL, and supervised with 5 faculty members.
The Library Director welcomed the visitors through a brief speech concerning SOUL activities and its services, followed by delivering an audiovisual presentation on the Library. After that the librarian team delivered a live search on OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) and Live search on the digital databases available in SOUL as well, in order to inform the visitors with the Library services and activities, particularly the use of the digital resources and content of the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB). By the end of the visit, the Library arranged a tour for the students to be acquainted with the Library collection specifically subjects falling in their fields.
